00:00 Hey there, let's take a look at how to create a timeline in your presentation.
00:05 So I just created a new chapter and I would like to add in it a nice timeline.
00:10 So as I would normally do with any page, I would go up and click add slides.
00:16 And then I'm going to scroll down to the pink section since my chapter is pink.
00:20 And I'm going to look for the right page.
00:23 And as you can see, there is a page called pink timeline.
00:26 So I'll use this.
00:28 And there you have it.
00:30 As you can see, the timeline doesn't have any dots on it though.
00:33 So since Keynote doesn't allow to have shapes that can be moved in their template and master
00:40 slides, we're going to have to add them ourselves.
00:44 To do that, we highly encourage you to go again to the presentation kit file we provided
00:50 you.
00:51 If you do not have it, we highly encourage you to go downloading it on our branding guideline
00:55 website.
00:56 And then go to the visual element section and head to the timeline page.
01:00 Here you're going to see all the dots are in place.
01:03 So you can select them all.
01:05 You can right click, copy, go back to your presentation, and then paste.
01:12 And they'll all fall into places.
01:16 If you need to add more dots on the line, you can select your placeholder for an icon
01:23 if needed, your dot, title and text, and then you can just copy and then paste it.
01:30 You'll just have to maybe move things up a little bit so it makes more sense.
01:35 If you need to remove one, it's the same, but you just select everything and delete.
01:39 And then you just move them as you wish.
01:42 If you need to change the colors of the dot, you just have to click them.
01:47 And then you go into format, style, and then you're going to see line.
01:52 You click the little wheel here.
01:54 And then by using the right color code also available in the presentation kit, you can
02:00 write the right code here or as I did, I saved them here and you can click them like that.
02:07 So green, purple, orange, but let's stay pink.
02:11 And that's pretty much it.
