Recipe to prepare "Bread Pohe":
Ingredients:
1 tbsp refined oil
1 tsp cumin seed
3 tbsp finely chopped onion
1/4 tsp ginger-garlic paste
2 tbsp chopped french beans
2 tbsp green peas
1 small-size tomato, finely chopped
1/4 tsp turmeric powder
1/2 tsp red chilli powder
1/2 tsp garam masala
1/2 tsp salt
1-2 tbsp water
2 tbsp finely chopped capsicum
1 bowl bread edges, (of 4-5 bread slices)
2-3 tsp lemon juice
Method:
Heat oil in a pan.
Add cumin seed, and let it crackle.
Add onion, and saute until pink.
Add ginger-garlic paste, and mix.
Add french beans and green peas; stir and saute for a while.
Add tomato, and mix well.
Add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, garam masala and salt, and stir well.
Add water, and mix well.
Add capsicum, and mix it.
Add bread edges, and mix well. Stir-cook for around 1-2 minutes.
Turn the flame low, and add lemon juice. Stir again and put off the flame.
Bread Pohe is ready to serve as a tasty snack.
