00:00 What's going on everyone? It's Taylor Cowes here from CLNS Media reporting for the 10th

00:03 day of Patriots training camp. It seemed like a veteran day off today with guys like David

00:08 Andrews, Matt Slater, and Jonathan Jones not present. There were a lot of holes on the

00:12 offensive line with almost none of the projected starters actually on the field. Understandably,

00:17 this led to a lot of issues with pass protection for the Patriots offense and really hurt their

00:21 ability to gain momentum in today's practice. The biggest standout in terms of the pass

00:25 rush was Matt Judon, who is finally a full participant after what we now know was in

00:30 fact a hold in while he was negotiating his contract. Now with that whole situation settled,

00:35 Matt Judon got a lot of reps, made a big impact with what would have been several sacks on

00:39 the day. Now as I mentioned, the pass rush was a big issue. Matt Jones in the starting

00:45 offense weren't able to get much of a rhythm going. Matt did have two very impressive completions,

00:50 one on a touch throw to Hunter Henry in red zone drills, and later a deep completion to

00:54 Devontae Parker, who went up against Jack Jones for a really impressive high point touchdown.

00:59 At the same time, Matt had a couple ill-advised throws, particularly a pair to Christian Gonzalez,

01:04 with the rookie picking off one pass and batting down another. Bailey Zappi unfortunately had

01:09 maybe his roughest day of practice after what's been a really solid camp for QB2. There were

01:14 a lot of passes that seemed to be batted down or hit the dirt well short of the target,

01:18 and he closed practice with an interception to Sean Wade during red zone periods. Now

01:23 I wouldn't hit the panic button. Like I said, Zappi's had a pretty solid camp so far. We'll

01:27 see if he's able to bounce back in the next practice. There's been a lot of talk about

01:30 Taequann Thornton not really being involved in the offense, particularly with the starters,

01:35 but we did see today he got a good amount of reps with Matt Jones along with Kayshaun

01:38 Booty. Unfortunately, he wasn't able to capitalize on these opportunities, as most of the passes

01:43 that came his way weren't accurate and forced him to make really tough adjustments where

01:47 he wasn't able to come down with the ball. The Patriots rookie kickers have really impressed

01:51 this training camp, and Chad Ryland continued that streak going 4-4 in today's practice,

01:55 including what looked like a 50-yarder. Now there was one play where Kyle Duggar seemed

02:00 to gesture that the kick didn't make it through the uprights, but from my perspective, it looked
