00:00What's up guys, today I got a quick news update video for you guys.
00:04So I think if you're a Galaxy S21 series user or an S22 user, you guys will be really happy with this news.
00:11So Samsung is going to be expanding the Galaxy AI features to not just the S22 now, but the S21 series as well.
00:20So just to give you guys the rundown here, so Samsung confirmed that even more of its past-gen devices
00:26will receive One UI 6.1 in early May, so that's when we can expect the update, which I will cover for you guys.
00:32With the Galaxy AI features, the S22 Flip 4, Fold 4, and Tab S8 series will gain every Galaxy AI feature
00:40aside from the instant slow-mo for videos.
00:44So basically, if you don't know what that is, it'll get everything but that.
00:49So basically, the Galaxy AI, it'll do this, so if you hold it, it'll instantly slow the video down and stuff like that,
00:57but you'll get everything but that.
00:59Now here's the thing with the Galaxy S21 series, so they're only going to get two Galaxy AI features,
01:05and that's going to be Circle to Search and Chat Assist.
01:08So basically, the Circle to Search thing, I think is really nice because I wasn't expecting it to get anything,
01:14but you will be able to do this now on the S21 when the update does come,
01:20and this is a feature that I really like, you know, the AI feature, I think it's really nice on these Samsung phones now,
01:26so I'm glad it's getting at least the one feature that I actually will use for the most part.
01:31But Galaxy S22 users, you will be getting pretty much all the features except for the one I mentioned earlier,
01:38so you can expect to get all of this, real-time translation during calls, the Samsung keyboard, the live interpretation,
01:45the Samsung notes will automatically summarize and format things, which is really nice.
01:50The voice recorder, it'll do the recording into text transcripts, and then we have web page summary,
01:58and then you have, of course, the Galaxy AI photo editor, which is a thing that a lot of people are really excited about.
02:05It's something that I don't really use that much, but as you can see, you can kind of move stuff and you can kind of alter stuff.
02:13Hold on, let me show you guys just real quick.
02:17When you hit that AI button, you can kind of move stuff around and, you know, it's kind of cool.
02:28It does take a little bit of time.
02:36And then sometimes, I wonder if it's gotten better.
02:38Yeah, so sometimes it'll add stuff to the scene, like it didn't fill in the chair, it just kind of added something else there.
02:46So, you know, the Galaxy AI thing is a little bit, you know, as far as when it comes to the photo editor,
02:52I never really use it because it always does something kind of weird there.
02:56But I'm glad that these features are coming to the older Samsung devices, so it's going to be really nice.
03:02And remember, the S21 is still going to get Android 15 as well, which is going to be exciting as well too.
