00:03I'm gonna go ahead and do my top five best
00:05old Samsung flagships to buy,
00:07just in case you weren't impressed
00:09or if you just wanna save some money
00:10and get a really great smartphone.
00:12All right guys, so the first phone on this list
00:14is the S21 Ultra.
00:15It's my personal favorite on the list
00:18and you can find these for easily around 370 right now.
00:22The price should come down this year to around 350, 340,
00:26so just look out for that.
00:27But yeah, beautiful design on here, aluminum frame.
00:31You have that matte finish on here.
00:33It's IP68 dust and water resistant.
00:35It doesn't have the boxy design
00:37like the newer Galaxy phones,
00:39so it's way easier to hold in the hand.
00:41It doesn't poke into the palm.
00:43It also has S Pen support as well too.
00:45A lot of people don't know
00:46you can use the pen with this phone.
00:48It also has a pretty big 6.8-ish display.
00:51That's one of the main things is that it's a big phone,
00:53but it's still fairly comfortable,
00:55even for people with smaller hands as well,
00:58because it's not as wide.
00:59It's a 1440p display, 515 for the PPI,
01:02120 hertz HDR 10 plus,
01:04and then it has 1500 nits peak brightness,
01:07and it does a great job outdoors,
01:09and I had no issues with the display.
01:11Like I said, one of my favorite displays.
01:12It does have a slight curve to it,
01:13but it's not an aggressive curve,
01:15so that's why I said it's really
01:16one of my favorite displays.
01:19This phone also got the Android 14 One UI 6 update.
01:22You guys can check out my video on that.
01:24It has the Snapdragon 888 processor,
01:27and then this phone will also get Android 15 as well,
01:30and then it will get security patches after that.
01:33It also has 128 gigs of internal storage
01:35and 12 gigs of RAM on board for the base model.
01:39This phone is plenty enough fast.
01:40It pretty much will play anything you throw at it.
01:42PUBG, Call of Duty, Fortnite,
01:45it will do a good job with pretty much
01:46any game in the Play Store,
01:49so just know if you're trying to buy this to game,
01:51it'll do an excellent job.
01:53These AAA chips, they do get a little bit warm,
01:55but I've never had this phone crash on me.
01:57I'm not a huge gamer,
02:00but I think this phone will still do really well
02:03if you are into gaming.
02:04You also have stereo speakers on board.
02:07You also have the ultrasonic fingerprint center,
02:09Samsung desktop support,
02:10pretty much all the same features you have on the S23
02:13and now the S24 pretty much.
02:16This phone also has a 108 megapixel standard,
02:19a 10 megapixel periscope telephoto with 10 times optical,
02:23and a 10 megapixel telephoto with three times optical,
02:26along with a 12 megapixel ultrawide.
02:28It can shoot an 8K24 with a 40 megapixel selfie cam
02:32that also shoots in 4K60.
02:34The shots on this phone are seriously impressive, guys.
02:37I took it to CES this year.
02:39I was really blown away with just how crispy the shots were,
02:42not only just your regular photos,
02:44but also the zoom photography on here is still really good.
02:47It does the 100 times zoom as well, too.
02:50Video is really solid on here.
02:52It's just a really good phone to take pictures with still.
02:55Also, you do have a 5,000 milliamp hour battery on here,
02:5925 watt charging and wireless
03:01and reverse wireless charging is on board.
03:04So basically, battery life is okay on this phone.
03:06Like I said, I had it and it didn't die on me.
03:09So you can get pretty much six hours of screen on time
03:12pretty easily with this device.
03:13Like I said, overall,
03:14one of my favorite phones to recommend.
03:16Next is the Samsung Galaxy Note20 Ultra.
03:19This is an awesome phone
03:20and really a phone that everyone really likes
03:23simply because this phone does have SD card support
03:26and it's still got a pretty nice design on here.
03:29Stainless steel, IP68.
03:31It's got the built-in S Pen with it as well, too.
03:34And it does have that boxy design,
03:36which looks good as far as like the screen,
03:38but it does kind of cut into the hand,
03:39like I was saying earlier.
03:41This phone has a massive display.
03:43It's 6.9 inches.
03:44It's a dynamic AMOLED, 120 Hertz, HDR10+,
03:48and it's a 1440p panel, Force 96 for the PPI,
03:52but you can only use the 120 Hertz at the 1080p mode.
03:57So just do note that.
03:58This phone got its last major OS update with Android 13
04:02and it's currently only getting security patches.
04:05This phone has the Snapdragon 865 chipset on here
04:08and performance-wise, it's still really, really fast, guys.
04:12I'm talking about launching applications.
04:15Check out my gaming test I did.
04:16Plays PUBG at 90 frames.
04:18It's just a beast when it comes to performance
04:20and it doesn't really heat up as well,
04:22which is really impressive.
04:24This phone does have micro SD card support,
04:26so for everyone who downloads a lot of games
04:30and takes a lot of video,
04:31you'll really appreciate the expandable storage on here.
04:34You have 128 gigs of internal storage
04:36and 12 gigs of RAM on board.
04:38Overall, just a beast when it comes to performance.
04:41And then you also have on here stereo speakers,
04:44which sound pretty good.
04:45Under the display, fingerprint sensor,
04:47ultrasonic, of course, and the pictures on here.
04:50So the pictures on here still are really, really good.
04:55The only way you could say it's a little bit dated
04:58compared to the newer Galaxies
04:59is it doesn't have as good a zoom quality, I noticed,
05:02even compared to the S21, 22,
05:05but you can still get really good shots
05:07out of the Note20 Ultra.
05:08It's got 108 megapixel standard,
05:1112 megapixel periscope telephoto with five times optical,
05:14and it does the 50 times hybrid zoom
05:16with a 12 megapixel ultra-wide.
05:18It shoots in 8K24 and with a 10 megapixel selfie
05:22that shoots in 4K60.
05:24Like I said, as you can see here,
05:25you can still get some really great shots
05:27with the Note20 Ultra.
05:29Honestly, it looks almost just as good
05:30as the newer Galaxy phones,
05:32but like I said, it does not look as good
05:35when it comes to that zoom,
05:37like zooming in and stuff like that.
05:39Now, this phone's battery life
05:41is still pretty much on par with the S21
05:44that we were talking about earlier.
05:46Even though the battery's a little bit smaller,
05:49it's got a 4,500 milliamp hour battery,
05:5125 watt charging, wireless and reverse wireless charging.
05:54I'm still able to squeeze almost around six hours
05:57of screen on time out of this phone,
05:58and I haven't replaced a battery
06:00on any of these phones as well, too.
06:02Overall, just a fantastic choice
06:04for anyone who wants SD card support.
06:07All right, so the next phone is the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE.
06:11This is probably one of the best budget phones
06:13that you can buy, period, this year.
06:16It's a phone that has flown under the radar.
06:19A lot of people forgot about it,
06:20but this is an extremely good device
06:22for around the $200 price point.
06:24It's really, really impressive, guys.
06:26So, this phone, it does have the aluminum frame.
06:29Now, it has the plastic back,
06:30but it's still able to give you a flagship
06:33kind of feel to it.
06:34It's IP68 dust and water resistant as well.
06:37It's got the dynamic AMOLED, 120 hertz,
06:40HDR 10 plus at 6.4 inches.
06:42Really slim bezels on here as well, too.
06:45It's 1080p, 403 for the PPI.
06:48Overall, just a beautiful panel.
06:50It completely flat as well, too,
06:51and I love the design.
06:53It feels comfortable in the hand as well.
06:55Now, the coolest thing about this phone in particular
06:58is that this phone is gonna get Android 15
07:01and also Android 16 as well,
07:04and security patches after that.
07:06This phone is gonna have a really, really long lifespan.
07:08It just got the Android 14 update,
07:11and it also has the Snapdragon 888 processor
07:14along with the 128 gigs of internal storage
07:18and six gigs of RAM.
07:19The phone is still very, very fast
07:22when it comes to going in and out of applications,
07:25playing video games, et cetera.
07:27Whatever you do on this phone,
07:28it's a very smooth experience.
07:29That's why it just blows my mind
07:31that this phone, you can find it for 200 bucks.
07:34Like I said, I would buy this over any mid-range phone,
07:37whatever.
07:38It's just a really good device for this price point.
07:40You also have stereo speakers on this phone as well, too,
07:43which sound pretty decent.
07:44This phone does have the in-display fingerprint sensor.
07:47It is optical, so it's not as fast as the ultrasonic ones,
07:51but it is still, it works 100% of the time,
07:54and you can use face unlock as well.
07:56Now, this phone does have really good cameras as well, too.
08:00It's not as impressive when it comes to the flagships,
08:02when it comes to the zoom quality and stuff like that.
08:05It really doesn't zoom like that,
08:07but it's got a 12-megapixel standard,
08:09eight-megapixel telephoto, three times optical,
08:12and a 12-megapixel ultra-wide.
08:14It shoots in 4K60, 32-megapixel selfie
08:17that also shoots in 4K60.
08:19Excellent, excellent image quality coming from this device.
08:23Really, really impressive.
08:26I'm just blown away.
08:26I mean, just look at the shots right here.
08:28For 200 bucks, you're getting a really, really good camera.
08:33The only other phone that I would say
08:34takes just as good pictures, or even better pictures,
08:37is probably like a Pixel device,
08:38like Pixel 6 you can find for super cheap,
08:40Pixel 7 you can find cheap,
08:42but yeah, this phone is gonna take
08:44really good shots for 200 bucks.
08:46Very, very impressive, and also pretty good video as well.
08:50This phone's battery life is pretty good, too.
08:51It's a 4,500 milliamp hour battery.
08:54It's got 25-watt charging.
08:56Wireless and reverse wireless charging is on board.
08:59Overall, easily can last a day,
09:01and yeah, just an extremely impressive phone.
09:04All right, so next is the Galaxy Note 10+,
09:06which honestly, it is a little bit expensive.
09:09I'm just looking at the price right now.
09:11It's like around 300 bucks still,
09:13which I think I wouldn't pay more than like 250
09:15for this phone.
09:17It's still a really, really good device.
09:19Even one of the biggest YouTubers,
09:22JerryRigEverything, I believe,
09:23he actually still uses this phone
09:25from what I saw in one of his videos.
09:27It just goes to show how good the device actually is.
09:31It's got an aluminum frame.
09:32It's got this really cool design.
09:33It's the Aura Glow color.
09:35It's IP68 dust and water resistant.
09:37It also has that boxy design to it.
09:40It's got the built-in S Pen,
09:42and one of the things to know with this phone
09:43is that there's no security updates.
09:45There's no more updates at all,
09:47and that's something to know.
09:49A lot of people don't care about that at all,
09:52and a lot of people do care,
09:53so just know that going into it,
09:55if you're gonna buy this phone, it's not getting updates.
09:58It's got a beautiful display.
09:59It's Dynamic AMOLED HDR10+.
10:01It really hasn't aged too much at all,
10:03besides not having any type of high refresh rate.
10:06It's 1440p, 498 for the PPI.
10:10Really, really beautiful display.
10:12Honestly, still looks like a display
10:14that came out this year.
10:16You also have on here the last major OS update
10:18with Android 12, One UI 4,
10:21and it has the Snapdragon 855,
10:23and guys, if you watched the video
10:25that I did on this phone,
10:26it's still able to play pretty much anything
10:29in the Play Store.
10:30It's able to play PUBG at 60 frames, Call of Duty.
10:33It wasn't able to play Fortnite,
10:35but it still plays the majority of the games.
10:37It also has SD card support
10:39with 256 gigs of internal storage and 12 gigs of RAM,
10:43so you can really load this phone up
10:45with a ton of storage as well, too.
10:47You also have stereo speakers on board.
10:50Underneath the display, fingerprint sensor is ultrasonic.
10:53You also do have pretty good cameras.
10:56It's a 12-megapixel standard,
10:5712-megapixel telephoto with two times optical,
11:0016-megapixel ultra-wide, 0.3 depth,
11:034K 60 on the front and back with a 10-megapixel selfie.
11:06So basically, the Note 10 Plus,
11:09it takes good pictures and good lighting,
11:11but if you take it out of good lighting
11:13and put it in any type of low-light scenario
11:15or something like that,
11:16then that's when you'll start to see the age of the phone.
11:19It'll look a little grainy, a little soft,
11:21but other than that, if you're in good lighting,
11:23you'd be surprised.
11:24You can actually get an extremely good shot from this phone.
11:27You also have a 4,300 milliamp hour battery,
11:30and what's really cool is that this phone charges
11:32actually really fast at 45 watts.
11:34It's got a wireless and reverse wireless charging
11:37as well, too, and you can still get
11:39pretty good battery life.
11:40I'm able to still get like five hours
11:42and 30 minutes out of mine as far as screen-on time,
11:46but it's still an extremely impressive device.
11:49Like I said, I think it costs a little bit too much, though.
11:51Now, the next phone is the Galaxy S22+,
11:54which honestly was one of my favorite phones
11:56that I bought last year.
11:58Really, really impressive, guys.
11:59You can find this phone actually for around 350 to 380.
12:04It's a really impressive phone for this price point.
12:07It's got the aluminum frame,
12:09really beautiful design on here with a matte finish.
12:12It's IP68.
12:13It's really easy to hold in the hand.
12:15It's got the dynamic AMOLED display.
12:17It's HDR10+.
12:18Really bright display at a 1750 nits peak brightness,
12:22so really nice outdoors.
12:256.6 inches.
12:26It's 1080p, 393 for the PPI,
12:29and overall, just a beautiful display.
12:31It's a completely flat panel as well, too,
12:33so if you want something that's, you know,
12:35not as big as like a S22 Ultra or something like that
12:39and you want the display to be flat, this is a good option.
12:41It's got Android 14.
12:43It will get updates for years and years to come as well,
12:46and then the performance on here is still excellent.
12:48Snapdragon 8Gen1.
12:50It pretty much will blow anything out of the water
12:52in terms of performance.
12:53It's a really fast phone, whether you're playing PUBG,
12:57going into applications, editing,
12:58whatever you're trying to do,
13:00it's gonna be a very fast experience.
13:02128 gigs of internal storage and eight gigs of RAM.
13:05It's got really nice sounding stereo speakers as well, too.
13:09The fingerprint scanner is ultrasonic, very fast.
13:13The most impressive thing about this phone
13:15is the cameras are extremely good.
13:17It's a 50 megapixel standard and a 10 megapixel telephoto.
13:21It's got three times optical with a 12 megapixel ultrawide.
13:24Shoots in 8K 24, and it's got a 10 megapixel selfie cam
13:28that shoots in 4K 60.
13:29Like I said, it's gonna take some of the best deals,
13:32I think, on this list,
13:34especially for the price that you're getting.
13:36It's gonna take some really, really good shots, guys.
13:39So the image quality, dynamic range, low light,
13:43it was just really impressive.
13:45And you're getting it for a very good price.
13:48This phone is a 4,500 milliamp hour battery,
13:5145 watt charging, wireless and reverse wireless charging.
13:55So basically, the battery life is really good
13:58on this device as well, too.
14:00Easily, I can get a day and a half, actually,
14:02out of this phone.
14:03Really good battery life.
14:05Just a really impressive phone for this price point.
14:08I also wanna throw in some honorable mentions here,
14:10like the S20 Ultra.
14:12It's not one of the most popular phones,
14:14at least on the channel,
14:15but I really like this phone
14:16because it's a cheap alternative to the Note20 Ultra.
14:19If you don't want the built-in S Pen
14:21and you don't like the boxy design,
14:23get the S20 Ultra.
14:25Like I said, it's way cheaper as well, too.
14:27You can find it for the upper 200s, which is really nice.
14:31And also, you have the S22 Ultra,
14:33which I didn't put on the list
14:35because it's kind of expensive.
14:36These phones are still kind of in the upper $500.
14:41So if you wanna spend a little bit of money,
14:44you could definitely get this device for sure.
14:47But like I said, it doesn't have a lot of stuff
14:50that you guys want, like the SD card support
14:53and all that stuff, but it's still an excellent device.
14:55Great cameras, really fast, beautiful design.
14:59There's a lot to like about that phone as well, too.
