00:00:00The title of the sermon for Father's Day is God's plan for men, God's plan for men.
00:00:08So if you first go to Genesis 2, I have several points, eight of them exactly.
00:00:16Man came first, you know, right off the bat.
00:00:20Man came first, Genesis 2.
00:00:23You don't have to get far in the Bible to see that.
00:00:26You know, we live in a society where men and women, the world wants to tell you that men
00:00:32and women are equal, and they need to be equal, they need to be paid equally, and they need
00:00:37to do things equally.
00:00:38Well folks, I hate to tell you, and if you don't like this to begin with, you're not
00:00:43going to like the whole sermon, that's just not true with God.
00:00:47That's not true with God.
00:00:48Look at Genesis 2, verse 7, and the Lord God formed man of the dust of the earth and
00:00:58breathed in his nostrils the breath of life, and man became a living soul.
00:01:03Folks, this is Adam, he's not even there.
00:01:07So the Lord Jesus Christ, he's gathering up a big ball of dust, and he's breathing in
00:01:13to Adam and making him alive.
00:01:17This is the first thing we see.
00:01:19Go down to verse 18, same chapter.
00:01:23And the Lord God said, it is not good that the man should be alone.
00:01:30I will make him and help me for him.
00:01:32So after God created Adam, he then said, you know what, it's not good that he's by himself,
00:01:39I'm going to create a help me.
00:01:43And that's what he does.
00:01:45Verse 19, and out of the ground, the Lord God formed every beast of the field and every
00:01:51fowl of the air and brought them unto Adam to see what he would call them.
00:01:56Not Eve, he's bringing all the animals in Genesis 2, he's bringing all the animals in
00:02:03verse 19 to Adam and saying, what will you call them?
00:02:10Not Eve, he's not even there yet.
00:02:12To see what he would call them and whatsoever Adam called every living creature, that was
00:02:18the name thereof.
00:02:19Verse 20, and Adam gave names to all cattle and to the fowl of the air and to every beast
00:02:26of the field.
00:02:27But for Adam, it was not found to help me for him.
00:02:32And look at verse 21, and the Lord God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam.
00:02:38So Adam, he's literally the only person on the planet, he's naming all the animals.
00:02:43And then God calls him and he slept and he took one of his ribs and closed up the flesh
00:02:49instead thereof.
00:02:50So the Lord God, Jesus Christ is pulling out this rib out of Adam, and what does he do
00:02:56with it?
00:02:57And the rib which the Lord God had taken from man, made he a woman and brought her unto
00:03:02the man.
00:03:04And Adam said, this is now bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh.
00:03:09She shall be called woman, because she was taken out of man.
00:03:14So the word woman literally means taking out of man.
00:03:19Now I know this is strange in 2024, because nobody knows the difference in a male and
00:03:24a female.
00:03:26They can't tell the difference.
00:03:27I saw where the government, the United States government, somebody was asked, a politician,
00:03:33can you tell me what a female is?
00:03:35And they couldn't answer the question.
00:03:38That's the goofball world we live in, folks, and nobody can tell the difference in a male
00:03:42and a female, and they're on mine.
00:03:45Go to 1 Timothy 2.
00:03:48And keep your finger in Genesis, we're coming right back.
00:03:52So my first point is, man came first.
00:03:55And look, don't have any preconceived ideas, because I'm trying to un-brainwash you from
00:04:03what the world says.
00:04:07Look at 1 Timothy 2, verse 13.
00:04:12For Adam was first what form?
00:04:15Then Eve.
00:04:16So Adam came first, and then Eve was created from Adam.
00:04:21And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression.
00:04:28Go to 1 Corinthians 11.
00:04:32This is talking about the difference in men and women, that men are supposed to have short
00:04:50hair, women are supposed to have long hair.
00:04:52I could preach an old sermon on that, I don't have time to do that, but what I do want you
00:04:56to look at is verse 8 in 1 Corinthians 11.
00:04:59For the man is not of the woman, but the woman of the man.
00:05:04We just saw that in Genesis, where God literally, the Lord God literally took a rib out of Adam
00:05:10and created a woman out of it, Eve.
00:05:13Neither was a man created for the woman, but the woman for the man.
00:05:18So God literally tells us, all the way back in the beginning in Genesis, that God created
00:05:24the woman for the man, not the man for the woman.
00:05:30So make sure you understand that, that's the first point, God, I mean man came first.
00:05:36Number two is God gave man authority, go back to Genesis 2, back to Genesis 2.
00:05:51Genesis 2 verse 15, and the Lord God took the man and put him in the garden of Eden
00:06:00to dress it and keep it.
00:06:02So what is Adam's job?
00:06:04To dress and keep the garden of Eden.
00:06:07He's not here, it's just him.
00:06:09And look at verse 16, the Lord God commanded the man saying, of every tree of the garden
00:06:16thou mayest freely eat.
00:06:18Every will, every single thing, all these different fruits and vegetables and everything
00:06:25in the garden, and it was probably a bunch folks, but of the tree of the knowledge of
00:06:31good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it, for in the day thou shalt eat of it, thou shalt
00:06:38surely die.
00:06:40So he's clearly telling them, hey, whatever you eat is fine, except this one little old
00:06:46plant, this one little old tree over here, don't eat it.
00:06:49Now look, Eve wasn't there, was she?
00:06:52Did he tell Eve that?
00:06:53No, Eve was not alive, because the next thing we see, the Lord God said, it is not good
00:06:58that the man should be alone, I will make him and help me for him.
00:07:02So next, we see in chronological order, after God tells him, hey, you can eat anything up
00:07:08here except this tree.
00:07:10And then he creates all the animals, or Adam names all the animals there in the garden.
00:07:17And then what happens?
00:07:18We see in verse 21 through 23, he makes Eve.
00:07:22This is chronological order.
00:07:24God gave man authority.
00:07:26He never tells Eve, hey, don't eat up the tree.
00:07:30So what happens?
00:07:33Number three, even though God gave man authority, number three is with authority becomes responsibility.
00:07:40Responsibility.
00:07:41Look at Genesis 3.1.
00:07:44So you have leaders sometimes, they want the authority.
00:07:49They want to tell you what to do.
00:07:51They want to push you around.
00:07:52I've had bosses in my, you know, supervisors, they want to be the boss.
00:07:56But then when it comes to responsibility, they don't want to take it.
00:08:00Oh, it's not my fault.
00:08:02I wasn't here.
00:08:03I wasn't doing this.
00:08:04I didn't see that.
00:08:05It's his fault.
00:08:06But when it's time to get a raise for being the boss or being the leader, they want that.
00:08:11Folks, that's not the way God works.
00:08:13Out of a man's mouth, that should never be, that's not my fault.
00:08:19Because, you're going to see in a minute, you know, people, it should be my fault.
00:08:26Whatever happens in my family, whatever it is, I take responsibility.
00:08:30Whatever happens in this church, I'm the pastor, I take responsibility.
00:08:34Because I'm going to have to answer to God for it.
00:08:36Don't have this idea that, well, my wife did this, it's her fault.
00:08:42Let's look and see what God says about that.
00:08:44Genesis 3.1.
00:08:45And the serpent was more subtle than any beast of the field which the Lord God had made.
00:08:51And he said unto the woman, to the woman, Eve,
00:08:57Yea, if God said you shall not eat of the tree of the garden.
00:09:00Now, Satan obviously knew that.
00:09:03Now, how did he know that?
00:09:04Well, because Satan, he knows more than we give him credit.
00:09:07And the woman said, now where's Adam at?
00:09:10Where's Adam at?
00:09:11He's not there.
00:09:13I don't know what he's doing, maybe he's taking care of the animals, whatever.
00:09:16But he knew to talk to the woman.
00:09:19And the woman said unto the serpent, we may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden,
00:09:24But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden,
00:09:28God has said you shall not eat of it, neither shall you touch of it, lest you die.
00:09:33Now, how did Eve know that?
00:09:35Does anybody know?
00:09:37Well, Adam, his husband, her husband told him that.
00:09:40She was told that because we don't see anywhere in the Bible where the Lord God told Eve that.
00:09:47So, obviously, Adam passed down to Eve, hey, we didn't eat anything but this tree right here.
00:09:53So she knew.
00:09:57And the serpent said unto the woman, you shall not surely die.
00:10:00Now, there's Satan.
00:10:01He always wants to twist a little bit.
00:10:03And he is right.
00:10:04They're not going to die physically, but they're going to die spiritually.
00:10:08For God does know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened,
00:10:13and ye shall be as God's little G, knowing good and evil.
00:10:19And the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes,
00:10:24and a tree to be desired to make one wise.
00:10:27She took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her, and he did eat.
00:10:35And the words of them both were open, and they knew they were naked,
00:10:39and they sewed big leaves together and made themselves aprons.
00:10:45And they heard the voice of the Lord God walking in the garden of the cool of day,
00:10:48and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the Lord God among the trees of the garden.
00:10:53And the Lord God called unto Adam and said to him, Where art thou?
00:10:57And he said, I heard thy voice in the garden.
00:10:59I was afraid, because I was naked and hid myself.
00:11:03And we talked about that last week, that they knew they were naked.
00:11:08But if you look in verse 25 of Genesis 2, it says they were both naked, and they were not ashamed.
00:11:14So they did not have that knowledge until they ate of that tree.
00:11:17And he said, Who told thee that thou was naked?
00:11:20Hast thou eaten of the tree wherever I commanded thee, that thou shouldest not eat?
00:11:25And the man said, The woman, that woman you gave me, she's the one that done it.
00:11:33No responsibility.
00:11:36And the Lord God said unto the woman, What is it thou hast done?
00:11:41And the woman said, The serpent beguiled me.
00:11:45And I did neither.
00:11:47So everybody's blaming somebody.
00:11:51He's blaming the serpent.
00:11:54And it says she was beguiled. What does that mean? Deceived.
00:11:58Deceived.
00:12:00And the man and Adam saying, Nah, that woman you took out of me, that bone you took out of me, it's your fault God.
00:12:07You shouldn't have made that woman for me.
00:12:09And 14, and the Lord God said unto the serpent, because here comes God's judgment now.
00:12:15Everybody's blaming everybody else, and God says, No, no, no, no.
00:12:18Let me tell you what I'm going to do.
00:12:20The Lord God said unto the serpent, Because thou hast done this, thou art cursed above all cattle and above every beast of the field.
00:12:26And upon thy belly shalt thou go, and thus shalt thou eat all the days of thy life.
00:12:32Now I've always wondered, you know, the serpent obviously is not crawling on his belly before this.
00:12:38And I'm wondering what the snake is saying to God.
00:12:42Hey, why are you punishing me? It was Satan. It wasn't me.
00:12:46So the rest of his life, a snake is crawling on his belly.
00:12:50I don't know.
00:12:52And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, that's talking about Satan,
00:12:59and between thy seed and her seed, which is what?
00:13:04Mankind, and there shall bruise thy head and shall bruise his heel.
00:13:09Now you can write there, John 13, 18.
00:13:13We don't have time to go there. We got many other points.
00:13:16But it talks about bruising his heel, talking about Jesus and bruising the head of the serpent in Romans.
00:13:25And to the woman, he said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception.
00:13:31And sorrow thou shalt bring forth children, and thy desire shall be to thy husband,
00:13:36and he shall rule over thee.
00:13:40So what's the punishment for Eve, the woman?
00:13:43Well, you're going to have a hard time giving birth.
00:13:47And it is. You know, you see some animals, some female animals,
00:13:51when they give birth, they're just kind of like walking around.
00:13:54I remember seeing one time a goat and just plop, plops on out.
00:13:57No problem.
00:13:58But to the woman, this is your punishment for being deceived.
00:14:02You will have a hard time giving birth.
00:14:05And he said unto Adam, because thou hast what?
00:14:08Hearken.
00:14:10Ye listen to your wife, and to the voice of thy wife, and hast eating of the tree,
00:14:15of which I commanded thee, saying, Thou shalt not eat of it.
00:14:19Curse to the ground for thy sake, and sorrow shalt thou eat in it all the days of thy life.
00:14:26He cursed the ground.
00:14:28Men, the reason it's so hard for us to get things to grow is because of Adam.
00:14:34Because he listened to his wife.
00:14:38Now I'm going to get to that in a minute.
00:14:40Thorns also and thistles shall it bring forth of thee, and thou shalt eat the herb of the field.
00:14:44And the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return to the ground.
00:14:50For out of it was thou taken, for thus thou art, and unto thus thou shalt return.
00:14:55So you know at funerals sometimes they talk about ashes to ashes, dust to dust.
00:14:59That's the way it is.
00:15:00Man came from dust, man returns back to dust.
00:15:03That's the way it is.
00:15:04But, you know, it's hard to grow things.
00:15:08You got to have the soil just right.
00:15:10You got thorns, you got weeds, you got all these thistles and stuff.
00:15:13And because of that, because Adam listened to his wife, guess what?
00:15:19That's why that happened.
00:15:20Now look, yes he did punish women.
00:15:23He punished Eve.
00:15:24But who's he holding accountable?
00:15:26Adam.
00:15:27Because Adam knew.
00:15:29Adam knew.
00:15:31Eve was deceived.
00:15:33But Adam sinned.
00:15:34That's what the Bible says.
00:15:35Go to Exodus 4.
00:15:38I'm going to show you another example.
00:15:48Exodus chapter 4.
00:15:53And to put this in context, this is where Moses is being told by the Lord,
00:15:58Hey, I want you to go to Egypt and release your people.
00:16:03Or my people.
00:16:05The Hebrew children.
00:16:07They're in bondage.
00:16:08They're in bondage for over 400 years.
00:16:10And he tells them, you know, in Exodus 3, I am that I am.
00:16:15And he tells them that.
00:16:17And what does he do?
00:16:19Moses goes away to his father-in-law's house.
00:16:22Exodus 4.
00:16:26And he's not really running away from God.
00:16:30But he doesn't believe that he's adequate.
00:16:33You look in Exodus 4.
00:16:36And up there it tells how he can't speak well.
00:16:38He apparently had a speech impediment.
00:16:41And he's giving God all these excuses.
00:16:43And God says, look, I made you.
00:16:45I'm the one who created you.
00:16:46You will be able to do it.
00:16:48But look at verse 18.
00:16:49And Moses went and returned to Jethro, his father-in-law, and said to him,
00:16:54Let me go, I pray thee, and return unto my brethren which are in Egypt.
00:16:57So he leaves and goes back to Jethro, his father-in-law.
00:17:02And he's saying, let me go, I pray thee, and return to my brethren which are in Egypt.
00:17:07And see whether they be alive, yet alive.
00:17:09And Jethro said to Moses, go in peace.
00:17:11So Moses is on his way to Egypt.
00:17:15Back from where he's at.
00:17:18And the Lord said unto Moses in Midian,
00:17:21Go return unto Egypt, for all the men are dead which sought thy life.
00:17:25So if you remember what happened,
00:17:27Moses sees a man being beaten.
00:17:30And he kills that man.
00:17:32And when he kills that man, he buries him in the dust.
00:17:35He committed murder, right?
00:17:37Well, Moses had to leave because of that.
00:17:40And when God tells him, hey, everybody's looking for you, they're dead.
00:17:45So Moses took his wife, which her name is Zipporah,
00:17:48and his sons, and set them upon an ass.
00:17:51And he returned to the land of Egypt.
00:17:53And Moses took the rod of God in his hand.
00:17:56And the Lord said unto Moses, when thou goest to return unto Egypt,
00:17:59see that thou doest all wonders before Pharaoh,
00:18:03which I have put in thine hand.
00:18:05But I will harden his heart,
00:18:08that he shall not let the people go.
00:18:10And shall say unto Pharaoh,
00:18:13Israel is my son, even my firstborn.
00:18:16And I say unto thee, let my son go, that he may serve me.
00:18:19And if thou refuse to let him go,
00:18:21behold, I will slay thy son, even thy firstborn.
00:18:24Now we know that's what happened.
00:18:26We talked about that before, the Passover.
00:18:28And it came to pass, by the way, in the end.
00:18:31So this is what Moses is doing,
00:18:35that the Lord met him and sought to kill him.
00:18:39Now, I had somebody, some woman,
00:18:42was trying to explain one time,
00:18:44that the reason this is,
00:18:46is that because the Lord is coming to kill him
00:18:49because he refused to go to Egypt.
00:18:51Folks, he's already on his way.
00:18:53He's literally going from Midian to Egypt,
00:18:56and he stops at an inn.
00:18:58Okay?
00:19:00So why is the Lord trying to kill him?
00:19:02You say, wait a minute, let's see.
00:19:04Look at verse 25.
00:19:06And look at verse 26.
00:19:18So he let him go.
00:19:20So if you take cause and effect,
00:19:22why is the Lord trying to kill Moses?
00:19:25Well, it's pretty simple.
00:19:27He didn't circumcise his son.
00:19:30And you say, where's that in the Bible?
00:19:32It's not there!
00:19:34He knew all the way back to Abraham
00:19:36that he was circumcised at 99 years old.
00:19:41And that was what God commanded them to do.
00:19:44That's what separated them apart from other people
00:19:47is the circumcision of the males.
00:19:50And apparently, Zipporah, his wife,
00:19:52didn't want to do it.
00:19:54She said, ah, it's bloody. It's disgusting.
00:19:58So it's pretty simple to me.
00:20:00It's not hard to understand
00:20:01that the Lord's trying to kill Moses.
00:20:03Why?
00:20:04Because he did not want to circumcise his boys.
00:20:09Because of the influence of his wife.
00:20:14Now look, you may have a fight with your spouse,
00:20:17but I'm telling you,
00:20:18you're probably never going to have
00:20:19your spouse throw foreskin at you.
00:20:22That's pretty crazy.
00:20:24But, guess what?
00:20:26She said, a bloody husband they are
00:20:28because of the circumcision.
00:20:30And God let him go.
00:20:32So literally, God was going to destroy him.
00:20:35He was going to kill him.
00:20:36He was going to kill him right there in the end
00:20:39in some kind of hotel, I guess you can call it.
00:20:42Because he did not,
00:20:44he refused to circumcise his son.
00:20:47God holds, not Zipporah.
00:20:50He's not mad at Zipporah.
00:20:52There's no way you see anything of God
00:20:54being mad at Zipporah and saying,
00:20:56hey, I'm going to destroy you and your wife.
00:20:58No, it's you, Moses.
00:21:00You're the one I'm holding responsible.
00:21:02With authority comes responsibility.
00:21:06I'm sorry.
00:21:07God holds men responsible.
00:21:09The fourth point.
00:21:10Gender equality does not exist with God.
00:21:13Did you hear me?
00:21:15You have all these people,
00:21:17you know, you had in the 80s and the 70s,
00:21:19all these women burning their bras
00:21:21and they want men to be equal with women.
00:21:24They want this to happen and that to happen.
00:21:26Not in the Bible.
00:21:28You know why the influx of women
00:21:32leaving the household and working,
00:21:35you're not going to believe this,
00:21:36it's for taxes.
00:21:37Because somebody said,
00:21:39well, all these men are working.
00:21:41If women went out of the household
00:21:43and they started working too,
00:21:45guess what?
00:21:46More taxes for the United States government.
00:21:49Good Leviticus 1.
00:21:51In Exodus, good Leviticus.
00:21:54Kind of funny,
00:21:55we're just kind of going in the order of the Bible.
00:21:58I'm going to show you several points
00:22:00that gender equality does not exist with God.
00:22:03If you don't like this, I'm sorry.
00:22:05Maybe you need to get on your knees
00:22:06and ask God to change it.
00:22:08Good luck.
00:22:09Leviticus 1.1.
00:22:12So one way that gender equality
00:22:14does not exist with God was sacrifices.
00:22:17Animal sacrifices.
00:22:19Now we don't do sacrifices now
00:22:20because Jesus is a sacrificial lamb
00:22:23slain from the foundation of the world.
00:22:25But during this time,
00:22:26look at Leviticus 1.1.
00:22:28And the Lord God called unto Moses
00:22:30and spake unto him out of the tabernacle
00:22:32and of the congregation,
00:22:33saying, Speak unto the children of Israel,
00:22:35and saying unto them,
00:22:36If any man of you bring an offering unto the Lord,
00:22:38you shall bring your offering of the cattle,
00:22:41even of the herd and of the flock.
00:22:43It is the offering to be a burnt sacrifice of the herd.
00:22:47Let him offer a male without blemish.
00:22:53He shall offer unto his own voluntary
00:22:55will at the door of the tabernacle
00:22:56of the congregation before the Lord.
00:22:58So this is a foreshadowing
00:23:01that Jesus was going to be that offering
00:23:04without a blemish, without any problems.
00:23:06A perfect lamb.
00:23:08Go down to verse 10.
00:23:12And if his offering be of the flocks,
00:23:14namely the sheep or the goats,
00:23:16for a burnt sacrifice,
00:23:18he shall bring it a male without blemish.
00:23:21Not a female.
00:23:24Well, this is crazy.
00:23:26Alright, go to Leviticus 12.
00:23:29So there's what God wanted women to do
00:23:34after they had birth.
00:23:36Yes, women, they birth people and animals.
00:23:42I know that's hard to understand.
00:23:44In Leviticus 12 verse 1,
00:23:47when a woman was supposed to,
00:23:49when she bore a child,
00:23:51whether it was a male or female,
00:23:53seven days of purification.
00:23:55What does that mean?
00:23:56Look at Leviticus 12 verse 1.
00:23:58The Lord spake unto Moses,
00:23:59saying, speaking to the children of Israel,
00:24:01saying, if a woman have conceived seed
00:24:04and born a man child,
00:24:06so this is a male baby,
00:24:08then she shall be unclean seven days
00:24:11according to the days of the separation
00:24:13of her infirmity shall she be unclean.
00:24:16So seven days after she has this baby
00:24:18she's considered unclean.
00:24:20And in the eighth day,
00:24:22the flesh of his foreskin shall be circumcised.
00:24:25So you've got seven days,
00:24:26and on the eighth day
00:24:27he's supposed to be circumcised, the baby.
00:24:31And she shall then continue
00:24:33in the blood of her purifying
00:24:35three and thirty days.
00:24:37She shall touch no hallowed thing
00:24:40nor come into the sanctuary
00:24:42until the days of her purifying be fulfilled.
00:24:44So if you take the eight days,
00:24:47you've got seven,
00:24:48then another one for the circumcision,
00:24:50and thirty-three more days,
00:24:51what do you have?
00:24:52Forty-one days,
00:24:54if my math is correct.
00:24:56It's forty-one days that if a woman
00:24:58has a male child,
00:25:00she's considered unclean.
00:25:02Okay, that's what the Bible says.
00:25:04I didn't write this, folks.
00:25:06Look at verse five.
00:25:07But if she bear a male child,
00:25:09means a female child,
00:25:11then she shall be unclean two weeks,
00:25:13and in her separation she shall continue
00:25:15in the blood of her purifying
00:25:18three score and six days,
00:25:20which is what?
00:25:21Sixty-six days.
00:25:23And then you add the other,
00:25:25the fourteen days,
00:25:26guess what you get?
00:25:27Seventy-four days.
00:25:29Why is that different?
00:25:30I don't know.
00:25:32Why is the purification different?
00:25:34I don't know.
00:25:35We just have to ask God
00:25:36when we get up to heaven
00:25:37why he chose it.
00:25:38I don't know.
00:25:39I'm sure there's a good reason.
00:25:40I don't have it.
00:25:42I'm not going to stand up here
00:25:43and tell you I do.
00:25:44But is it different?
00:25:45Would you say,
00:25:46well, if you have a male child
00:25:48and a female child,
00:25:49you have to stay the same days
00:25:51as being unpurified.
00:25:52That's not what God said.
00:25:54There's a difference.
00:25:57Go to Leviticus 27.
00:26:04Folks, don't try to push the world
00:26:06into the Bible.
00:26:07You're going to fail every single time.
00:26:10Leviticus 27 verse 1.
00:26:15And we don't have time
00:26:16to go through all these,
00:26:17but it's talking about
00:26:18when a man vows a vow,
00:26:21it's the worth of people.
00:26:24And it's not talking about slavery.
00:26:25Don't get all goofy about this.
00:26:28It's talking about the estimation.
00:26:29Look.
00:26:30And the Lord said unto Moses,
00:26:31speaking to the children of Israel
00:26:32and saying to them,
00:26:33When a man shall make a singular vow,
00:26:36the person shall be for the Lord

00:26:48as in far as people in your family
00:26:51or whatever,
00:26:52because it talks about the value
00:26:53of a house or whatever.
00:26:54If they want to make
00:26:55some kind of offering unto the Lord,
00:27:00a monetary offering,
00:27:01this is what it's talking about.
00:27:02It has nothing to do with slavery.
00:27:04And in thy estimation
00:27:06shall be of the male
00:27:07from 20 years old
00:27:08unto 60 years old.
00:27:10So a male that's 20 to 60.
00:27:12In thy estimation
00:27:13be 50 shekels of silver.
00:27:15So a male that is 50,
00:27:17I'm sorry,
00:27:1820 years old to 60,
00:27:1950 shekels.
00:27:21So that should be the same thing
00:27:23for females, right?
00:27:24No.
00:27:25And it shall be a female
00:27:26that in thy estimation
00:27:28shall be 30 shekels.
00:27:30Say, well, I thought they were equal.
