00:00What's up guys we're back and we're going to be checking out another projector the Apollo P40 from Altamia
00:05I want to thank them for sending this out and sponsoring today's video here very cool projector here
00:11So let's just go over the general specs here that we're dealing with so first off
00:16It is a $300 projector and what I've been liking about these projectors is that versus a TV
00:23There are tons of benefits
00:25Here, so I just want to go and talk about it here
00:28So 300 bucks here, we got 3s autofocus 4k supported
00:3421,000 lux so it's a very bright projector, which I think is very essential
00:38We also have 5g Wi-Fi on here as well too, and then of course we have HDR 10
00:43So you get very good colors on here
00:45And what's really good and what I really like about these projectors now is that they have autofocus and autofocus
00:53Keystone correction so unlike cheaper projectors where you just sort of have to play with the little you know
01:00Keystone and try to get it to focus it automatically does it so it just feels more like a TV
01:05When you want to move it around and stuff like that
01:08So that's something that I really like
01:10Also, you do have a two-way Bluetooth connection on here
01:14And you can set up your sound system of course
01:17And I think the main benefit is that you don't have to spend a ton of money on a massive TV
01:21So this will come at 150 inches max and you can see just compared to a regular TV
01:27And you're not spending you know a TV. That's gonna cost you know 150 inch TV is gonna cost way more than 300 bucks
01:35So let's go ahead jump in and let's go ahead and get started
01:38What you get in the box is a standard remote controller, which is very nice, and then of course we got power cord
01:45We have an AV cord as well, and then most importantly they do offer the HDMI
01:52In the box which is really nice the projector itself looks really good
01:56I really like the gray color it pretty much will blend in with pretty much any living room
02:01So on the back we do have our HDMI AV
02:04Aux into USB ports, and then what I really like is we have a really big power button on here as well, too
02:11And then we turn it to the front, and I think also just the attention to detail here
02:16Most projectors have a little pop-off cap that you can easily lose this one just slides
02:21So that's something I really like it just slides and slide it back
02:26Absolutely love that. I think all projectors should should pretty much do it like that
02:30Just because you can just easily lose those little caps
02:33Also at the bottom of the projector. We do have a ton of
02:37access points we can get to go ahead and
02:40Prop it up like we desire to and let's go ahead and prop it up guys
02:45We got the projector turned on here and what I like about this projector
02:49Is that it's not too loud and also the first thing that you notice is that it's a very colorful projector
02:55Something that I really like and also you have a really clean interface on here very fast
03:00Which is something that I really like because definitely cheaper projectors the interface is usually typically slow and in your settings here
03:08It's just your typical settings here. You can see Wi-Fi Bluetooth all that good stuff
03:12But let's go ahead and hook Samsung desktop support up to this all right guys
03:17We have Samsung desktop support running on here, so it didn't give me any problems
03:20It worked very fast and like I said setting up the projector is just really sweet because of the auto focusing on here
03:27Just works really well, so you it saves you a lot of time
03:30Especially if you like moving the projector to a different room or something like that
03:34It'll just get the picture right each time now with Samsung desktop support here
03:40I've been just looking at YouTube videos and stuff like that, and it's been really smooth. There's no latency or anything like that
03:47Also guys the picture quality as you can see is really nice and vibrant. It looks really really good guys
03:53And what's more surprising here?
03:55Is that the speaker quality is actually extremely good way better than I actually thought it was gonna be so I'll go ahead and
04:02Turn it up to max volume
04:15All right, so here's also another point that I wanted to make is I turned on the lights in my room as you can see
04:21And we're still getting a very clear
04:23Colorful picture here, so that's one of the things I wanted to emphasize because I know a lot of people are very curious about that
04:29If it's daytime or even if you just have lights on in your room
04:32Will the picture quality degrade and the answer is no the picture quality still looks very good, and I have you know one of my?
04:40bright
04:41Lights on that I film videos with so I think it's pretty good
04:46Also lastly for everyone that's curious about Netflix. It does work when I hooked it up to my PC
04:52I was able to play Netflix, so if you have a laptop or a desktop or something it'll work
04:57Just fine everything is running smooth, but you might run into some issues on mobile devices
05:03I was not able to get it to run. I got so that is pretty much it the projector is a really good projector
05:09It's not too loud also
05:10It's very easy to use very to set up very easy to set up with iPhone and Android doing the screen mirroring also
05:17HDMI you have the USB that you can do to put movies on it if you want to
05:23Also you can stream music wirelessly, which is pretty cool and everything is really easy if you want to set up your
05:29Bluetooth speakers wireless speakers or connect them everything is very easy so be sure to let me know what you guys think and I'll catch you
05:35guys in the next
